Elizabeth Tipson, LGPC
LICENSED GRADUATE PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR
Hello! I work with adults, teenagers, and couples who are facing anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, life transitions, loss, and relationship stress. I welcome clients of all backgrounds, including folks who have disabilities or chronic illness, those who identify as neurodivergent or LGBTQ+, and those who are questioning or trying to find their identity. My therapy style is rooted in humility, curiosity, and respect, and I aim to honor each person’s culture and unique intersectional identities.
My therapy style draws from psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, interpersonal process and mindfulness. Using these approaches, we might explore the influence of your childhood on your life trajectory, examine your relationship patterns, and learn to bring awareness to mind and body in the present moment. I aim to collaborate with you to create a healing therapeutic relationship. I view mental health holistically and welcome exploring the impact of sleep, work, diet, movement, relationships, sexuality, creativity, and spirituality on your mental health. I am delighted to get to know you and will be honored to support you as you begin therapy.
