So much of what helps us heal are supportive, trusting, and honest relationships. Building that sort of alliance is my first priority. Through our relationship, we’ll explore what it is that you want and need, and we’ll discover the things you’re ready to let go of or leave behind. We’ll identify and develop your strengths while we also open a space for what challenges you. Ultimately, our therapy will be about inviting awareness into your life and the option for you to choose differently, courageously.
I use a psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral approach, integrating current evidence-based practices. As a student earning my master’s in clinical professional counseling, I’m learning all that I can about what works, what doesn’t work as well, and how to provide the most helpful therapy I can for you. As much as I aim to assist you in becoming the person you want to be, the reality is that you’re helping to do the same for me.
