The current pandemic carries many losses, hardships, and grief- from the every day struggles to the bigger, life-altering ones. It is possible that you may be experiencing identity shifts stemming from major life transitions, relationship struggles, changing career paths, adjusting to virtual learning, or a new medical/mental health diagnosis for you or a family member. At this time, you might also be struggling with the death of a loved one or mourning the inability to see relatives or your friends due to the restrictions of the pandemic. No matter what type of loss or transition you may be experiencing, you deserve the space to process, pause, and to heal.
As an art therapist, I am trained to utilize techniques in session to help provide a safe outlet for self-expression, managing stressful feelings, and introducing mindfulness and self-compassion. I also work from a Jungian perspective with clients interested in exploring their inner world by developing a deeper understanding of themselves.
I recognize that there is no 'one size fits all' approach to therapy and find it important to collaborate with each client along the way. No one should have to feel alone in their life journey, especially during this ongoing pandemic. I encourage you to reach out so we can decide together if I would be the right fit for you or for a family member!
