LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

Hello and welcome. Taking the step to look for support is an important part of caring for your mental health. If what you read here resonates with you, I invite you to reach out to schedule a complimentary 10–15 minute consultation so we can see if we might be a good fit.

I work with adults (21+)—and at times their family members—who may be experiencing anxiety, persistent worry or panic, depression, grief and loss, low self-esteem, isolation, relationship challenges, and fears related to specific situations such as the workplace or flying. I also support individuals who identify as neurodivergent and those struggling with disorganization, mood changes, or overwhelming stress.

These concerns often show up in daily life through symptoms such as sleep or eating difficulties, racing thoughts, agitation, intrusive or repetitive thoughts, physical symptoms of anxiety (like a racing heart or upset stomach), and feelings of hopelessness or deep sadness. Some people cope by withdrawing or using avoidance strategies—such as excessive gaming, scrolling, or substance use—to numb or manage these feelings. For many individuals, these struggles may also be connected to unresolved stress or trauma from earlier life experiences.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space built on trust and openness. We will move at a pace that feels right for you. In our work together, we may focus on areas such as strengthening communication and relationship skills, managing emotional distress, aligning your actions with your values, exploring the impact of past trauma, improving coping strategies, and understanding the powerful connection between mind and body. When appropriate, we may also discuss coordination with a licensed medical provider for medication support.

I have experience helping individuals with concerns including anxiety, panic, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, ADHD, grief and loss, substance misuse, and autism spectrum differences. My approach draws from a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Family Therapy.

Prior to joining Pivot Point LLC, I provided care in several treatment settings including Taylor Manor Hospital, Sheppard Pratt Hospital, and Mentor Therapeutic Foster Care, among others.

If you feel that we might work well together, please reach out to schedule a complimentary consultation. I look forward to connecting with you.
